Scholarships

1. Merit-Based Scholarships

• AIIMS Institutional Merit Scholarships
  Awarded to top-performing students in academics (MBBS & Nursing)

  • Eligibility: High academic rank in internal exams

  • Amount: 500 to 1,000/month (modest but symbolic)

  • Tenure: 1 academic year (renewable based on performance)

2. Government Scholarships (Applicable for AIIMS Patna students)

Students are eligible to apply for various central and state-sponsored scholarships, including:

• AIIMS Patna facilitates application, but students need to apply on respective portals (NSP or state portals)

3. AIIMS Patna Fee Waiver / Financial Assistance

• Students from extremely economically weak backgrounds can apply for fee concessions or waiver of hostel/mess charges on compassionate grounds
  (On submission of income certificate and evaluation by Dean's office)

4. External/Private Scholarships

• Students can apply independently to external scholarship providers like:

  • JN Tata Endowment
